She celebrated in style with opening her presents and blowing out some candles (or should I say we singing happy birthday while William blew her candles out), before she went to school so Amelia and William could take a cupcake for there lunches. We got her some birthday balloons and a massive badge just to let everyone know that Charlotte was the birthday girl! One of her special gifts was a pretty pink Pandora leather bracelet with a lovely purple bead, pink is her colour! We also had Nan from Hobart visiting with us which was lovely that she could be there for Charlotte's birthday!
I was told she had a lovely day at school and she came home that evening to enjoy MORE cupcakes, this time ice cream cupcakes as I knew that she would at least be able to try eating some of these as they are smooth and Charlotte is fully PEG fed and usually does not eat orally. I must say she really enjoyed the sweetness of the ice cream BUT not how cold it was she sure came up with some wonderful expressions which I thought would lead to tears as it was so cold but she continued on with no complaint.
