Oh tis the Season to be busy!

Well it has again been a while since I last blogged, but I am happy to say that we have finally moved into our new place and slowly we are getting through the boxes. My theory is that we have all the essential stuff up stairs so we may actually not need the other stuff and will re assess if we will throw it out after all!

Well so much has been happening over the last week that I thought I would just blog it all here in one go and not worry about doing it individually. So here goes:

The firt thing is that the Mum's group from church went to Kids Paradise just over a week ago and William had soooooo much fun! Can you tell from the pictures! He has got so much more confident going all over the play gym now and has NO FEAR which a bit of a worry, I am such a worry Ryan is always telling me that I need to chill out a bit and let him go, it can be easier said than done! I also love the fact that they have a dress up area, William saw some girls in their and decided that he wanted to try on the sexy sequin number too! Doesn't he look hot!!!!!!!!

Talking of sexy check Amelia out playing a tune while getting groovy in my high heels. Oh I am scared when she turn into a teenager, I am sure she will be borrowing all my stuff, makeup, shoes, clothes, and whatever else she can get her hands on, scary!

This is our moving day, the house is looking like a big bomb as we are trying to find places for things, however I am happy to say that the house is much bigger and it has stack of cupboard space which means that I can hide everything, no more clutter and tripping over everyones stuff. I still need to take some pictures of the house when everything is put in its place so stay tuned to the more recent photos still to come. but in the meantime check out our view. This New Years we are having family over to stay and we are going to watch the fireworks from our loungeroom window as we look right over Aurora Stadium.

We still had some of William's presents to open but decided to wait untiol we moved into our new place to give them to him, He had a ball on the Sunday with all his new stuff!
Amelia has also been doing Learn to Swim over the past 2 weeks and she has come such a long way since the start of the year, she goes swimming once a week when she goes to St Gorges on a Thursday. It was great seeing how well she is able to kep herself afloat in the pool. She also looks like she is trying to do some freestyle swimming.

This Saturday was the Launceston Christmas Pagent and we were lucky to have Ryans family up as they had been at Kirk and Amy's Engagement party the night before. We got them to come to the Christmas pagent with us, and lucky for all that it didn't rain while the pagent was on. The day was howver very cold which was a shame as I heard a few floats pulled out because of the poor weather. Lets hope that next year we have better weather. I remember that last year we actually got sun burnt! It was a little quiet for us at the pagent as Amelia went away with the crossin family. On Friday night they took her back to Devenport with them and then Saturday they travelled to Hobart to go to the Crowded House concert that was held at Tolosa street Reserve. they were then travelling back to Devenport after the concert, which ,means they wouldn't have got home until 3 ish this morning! Ryan and I are about to leave for a drive to devenport soon to go and pick her up, I am sure that she will be one very tiered little girl tonight! If she ios anything like me when I don't get enough sleep she will be feeling like she is going to be sick, hopefully she sill drop of and have a sleep on the way back home!

Broom Broom Broom, A day out with the V8 Supercars

Today Charlotte went with a group from her school to Symmonds Plains to see the V8 Supercars that are in town. On request form me I asked if they could email me some photos and Carolyne did just that this arvo. I must say we were very impressed with the likes of the people she saw. She even met a big footballer, Akamanis, nice going Lottie!
I also wonder if Charlotte is hoping to be one of the chickie babes one day she was just getting in pracitse with posing with them today!

Birthday Party, 2 year olds, McHapp and moving!

Well things have been very hectic over the past few weeks. First I will say that we are moving which is the main reason for a busy hectic life and so with packing and all the organising that goes with moving, fixing phone hydro, bla bla bla. For those who dont know the funny side of our move is that we are moving into a house in the same street and we are 94 moving to 95! And NO it is not over the road it is actually about 700 meters away. So this Sat we are having the fun job of moving!

Now Friday as you may have heard from Lisa's blog it was a student free day for Charlotte and Noahs school, and Amelia's as well. So to help fill in the day we went to have lunch with Ryan as it was also William's 2nd birthday. We took a picnic to Beaconsfield and had cupcake's and had a play in the park. It was a lovely sunny day out there and we enjoyed the time together.

For tea on Friday night we had a little party with party food, homemade sausage rolls and chips with party pies. We also had some more cupcakes (I think we are turning into cupcakes! On the friday I made 90 mini cupcakes).

So on the Sat we promised the kids that we would go to Mc Donalds as it was McHappy day and I wanted to see Hannah in her bumble bee costume as she was volunteering adn got to dress up. The good thing was that we saw Hannah but she was already finished her volunteer shift so was not in her bumble bee costume but her regular maccas outfit. Anyway Amelia and Ryan had themselves a Big Mac with Will having his Happy Meal with nuggets and me, who has not eaten fries for over a year decided to have a health options garden salad with a cheese burger! Ryan was disgusted that I went to Maccas and only had a salad! The kids had agreat time in the playground and Amelia had a butterfly face painted on her cheek. On the way back we decided to have a soft serve cone so went through the drive through as it was easier to bribe the kids on leaving the playground after we promised them an icecream, we are very smart parents!

We ended up coming home and continued cleaning up the garage which is almost ready to move just a few odds and ends to put in boxes but overall things are going well. We find it frustrating the wait that we can't really move anything in as we don't pick up the keys until this Friday.

All the fun of McDonlads!

The Birthday boy scoffing a cupcake!

Hanging five with Dad at Beaconsfield

She is great at doing a blowfish on the car window!

When we got to Beaconsfield William had fallen of to sleep, we wer worroed he would miss the whole birthday lunch!

The cupcakes had blue icing and Amelia loved the fact that we all had a blue mouth from eating them!

While I made the cupcakes William enjoyed being the official beater licking tester! He was soooooo good at it!

On the weekend in Hobart for Ryan's reunion we also had a chance to catch up with other family members, one part of the family we caught up with was Roz and her family. My kids loved spending time with their cousins and I think that they enjoyed it to. Amelia and Henry just LOVE each other, they had a great time, Henry loved following Amelia around, he also kept saying 'hey Amelia' all the time when he wanted to show her something. William just loved being able to play with differnt toys.

On the Monday as a treat we took the kids to McDonalds for a play and some ice cream, what a great ice cream mowwie they got!

Josh and William had heaps of fun bouncing around in Roz and Chris's bed on the Sunday while all the grown ups were having a chat.

Reunion

On Saturday night Ryan and I went to his 20 year Rose Bay Reunion. He had a blast as he caught up with people he has not seen for 20 years and it was interesting to hear some of the stories that they told about him. Ut was really funny as he was really nervouse before he went but once he was there he had a blast! Am going to try and upload some pics on his facebook.

Craft Fair

Mum, William and I had a lovely day at the Craft Fair in Deloriane last Friday. We left home at 8.30am and we got home at 3pm, in time for the girls to come home on the bus. We had a great day with a few small problems, we managed to be walking between a venue when a big down pour came. I lost my mobile on the bus, but managed to find it again thanks to some kind person who handed it in to the bus driver.
Mum was amazing as she spent heaps of money, but I must say that some people will be having very nice present for Christmas this year, thanks to the craft fair! She also had a great time getting up close and personal to an Alpacca, she has never touched one before. Now she can tell everyone she has petted one and got to give it a cuddle!

It was great that William had a sleep, otherwise it would have been VERY LONG day!
