Teddy Bears Picnic

William and I went to the Teddy Bears Picnic outing in City Park today that was put on by Playgroup. Will had a lovely time running around and trying many things. Below are a snapshot of some of the things he got up to.

 Balancing very well!
Collecting a cool balloon and a cool tupperware container.
Doing a painting. Yes Will that is green like Dorothy the dinosaur you can see!
 Riding in a car!
 Doing some healthy stamping.
And the most exciting, saved for the last is getting a very cool Spiderman face paint.

I think teddy enjoyed himself as well BUT William ditched him at the start so he spent the time in the backpack, so much for a Teddy Bears picnic!

Charlotte's 12th Birthday

Ok well in typical slack style I am only now just getting to Charlotte's birthday that was on the 14th of October!

She had a lovely day with a visit from her Nan and Aunty Roz all the way from Hobart (just happened that Roz had work up here so they were able to visit). We had a little afternoon tea when the kids got home from school then for dinner we went to the Riverside Hotel, great for kids! We then came home and enjoyed cupcakes and cakepops for desert.

Charlotte got some lovely gifts and the special one was a Pandora bracelet, so when people ask what they can buy her we can suggest a charm for the bracelet, so far she has the elephant and a pony and I am planning on going in this weekend and getting her another one as she got some birthday money.

Its hard to believe that she is 12!!!!!! How time flies.

I must say I had heaps of fun and I think the kids did too! Not sure about Ryan tho! I am LOVING the new camera! So here are some of the pics we took, have not edited as yet but will do as I scrapbook them!

Hobart, haircut and a Wedding

Well we have had a VERY busy weekend! On Friday night we traveled to Hobart after Ryan finished work so we could attend the wedding of Ryan's brother Seth. It was actually a lovely drive down as Amelia watched Avatar on Ryan's Ipod and William fell asleep and Charlotte is never a trouble when we travel.

So our busy weekend consisted of getting up early Saturday morning so I could get to my appointment for a haircut, its only been like 11 months since I last had a haircut that is how long it has been since we last went to Hobart! I am really fussy and have had some BAD haircuts in the past so my theory is stick with the person that actually does a good job.So after a relaxing hour I then had to go and help dress the kids to get to the wedding.
It was great to see Yvette had come over from Melbourne to be there for the day and it was a surprise to all as the only people who knew she was coming was Ryan's Mum and Dad!

It was scheduled to start at 11.30 BUT weddings never are on time so 20 minutes later the bride arrived!

I loved the ceremony as it was quick, over in 15 minutes, no mucking around thats for sure!

So next on was some photos and then a reception! Ryan's mum did a great job organising the food and as per usual they had WAY TOO MUCH! Our contribution was the cupcakes and cake pops which went down really well.

So once the formalities were over and the guests started to leave we all pitched in to help clean up! We didn't mind as it was a good distraction for the shoddy way St Kilda played in the second grand final. By the time we did get home to my Mums I ended up just working on some digital scap pages to dull the pain of a massive defeat!
