Children's week at City Park

On Saturday to start children's week there was a family day full of free entertainment and things for the kids to do at City Park. We ventured down after a quick trip to Bunnings to purchase some odds and ends to put into out garden.

The weather was wonderful and the kids had heaps of fun, especially William as he was able to enjoy a bounce and a slide on the bouncing castles. They had a couple of food stands including saugages, oven pizza and ice cream William gravitated to the ice cream and got very cross that he had to have a sausage before an ice cream! After a little discussion about it he was happy and forgot all about eating an ice cream!

William went and danced to the faeries and was a little unsure to start as it was overrun by many girls , that was until the silly song came on and then he got into it! Amelia met up with a friend from school who was also enjoying the outing and between them they boogied to the faeries as well.

All in all it was a great day and we caught up with people and families we hadn't seen in a while but was nice to see and chat to.
