Well yesterday was a Public Holiday in Launceston due to the show. Ryan had to work for half the day and the kids and I just hung out around the house and watched a movie and cleaned up. Once Ryan got home we went out to do a little shopping and one of the things on our agenda was to buy a new mattress for Charlottes bed as the one she has is tottaly beyond it! We have got two foam matresses on top of each other at the moment as they have no support and she would be on the springs of the bed otherwise. So we travelled to our favourite shop Harvey Norman to have a look and suprise suprise they had lots on sale. We ended up getting a Sealy postuerpedic single size extra large as her hospital bed is a little longer than a regular bed. And just because they had such a good sale on beds we ended up getting a single regular size for Amelia. Mind you the bed Amelia has use to be my bed when I used to live at home with mum and dad! So it was high time to get her a new one as well.
We spent a fare while in the shop getting ideas and prices on what to buy, and I must say the kids were really good in not getting crabby. William was very well entertained with Ryan's phone for alot of the time and we realised that once we got home he had rung my phone twice and sent about 4 text messages, no wonder Ryan has no credit on his phone now!
We also went to Spotlight so I could get some more material to make Tonis Wrap around skirts that are so easy peasy to make and we also got some groceries. We had a very productive afternoon, and I must say so did my bank balance!
