Well it has been a very busy and full on day! To start with the girls went on the school bus at 8 this morning and then we Mum (who is staying for the weekend), Will and I went off to Kmart to see if we could get some of the catalogue specials. I managed to get 1 item and had to raincheck the other, really hoping it is back before Christmas! Once we had done that we were off to Charlotte's school to see her in her final assembly. We caught up with Lisa, Harri and Kobe who were there to see Noah, Charlotte and Noah are in the same class at school. Their class did a very funny skit about how Santa had no red costume to wear as Mrs Clause had shrunk it in the wash. Each of the students had their wheel chairs dressed in a different outfit that Santa had tried on from the costume shop, the TA's had sone a great kob with the art work. Charlotte looked great! I also loved Noah who was a skeleton, am sure Lisa would have got a great photo with her cool camera!
I find the only way to keep William entertained is to feed him! We went through heaps of food today as Charlottes Assembly went for almost 2 hours! He did a great job sitting for that long.
Along with the other items from each group the children were in a slideshow that showed their class and what they had been up to over the year, they were also presented with a book certificate inside for their work throughout this year. Charlotte got her's from good standing in her standing frame. Once the assembly had finished there was morning tea for the parents, we coudn't stay as we had to go to target to get some more catalogue specials. Luck again we managed to layby all the item we were looking for.
After town we then had to go to an afternoon tea and slideshow for Amelia's class. It was a great afternoon and the children loved seeing themselves and their friends on the screen. It was alittle sad as we found out that Amelia's teacher is leaving to go to West Launceston next year
:( She is such a greta teacher and she will be very missed by all the students, staff and parents. But we wish her all the best of luck with her teaching career as she embarks on a new journey.
